Domaine Gouron Chinon Rouge 2022 SpainThe Gouron family has farmed their estate for five generations in the region of Chinon. This cuve called Terroir reflects the unique gravelly sloped soils, and the 50 year old vines planted there. Almost Pinot Noir esque in style, the Cabernet Franc here is wide open with a knife edge balance of fruit and acidity from start to finish. Supple and ripe, the finish is pure black tea and red berry fruit. No oak in this cuve.
